Last Class at Our Center

May 27

Manchester Shambhala is going through a period of transition, and we will be leaving our space of 11 years. More info will be available soon about a few options for connecting with us in the future, so stay tuned!

As part of our last class on May 27th, we will be doing the Sadhana of Mahamudra, followed by a reception to celebrate the years we have spent on Bonnet Street. The Sadhana of Mahamudra is a practice text composed by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the founder of Shambhala. He wrote the Sadhana in a sacred cave in Bhutan in 1968 at an important turning point in his presentation of the Buddhist teachings in the West.

The Sadhana of Mahamudra is one of the first practices that the Vidyadhara encouraged his students to do. It is a binding factor for our community because students at all levels of practice can participate and receive a true experience or understanding of the spiritual path.

Please come and celebrate with us!
