The Manchester Shambhala Meditation Group is honored to present Level I of Shambhala Training with Roger Guest.
Shambhala Training Level I: The Art of Being Human marks the beginning of the Heart of Warriorship Program which teaches students of any tradition effective tools for meditation. This first Level focuses on the basic technique of mindfulness meditation. By settling our minds, we begin to see the magic of the world beyond our habitual filters, and experience the quality of basic goodness which can neither be created nor destroyed. Shambhala Training is recommended for new and experienced meditators, as well as for those looking to enrich their existing spiritual tradition. The weekend includes meditation training and practice, talks by a senior teacher, individual meetings with the directors, and group discussions.
The weekend begins with a talk on Friday evening, January 8th at 7:00 pm. The program continues Saturday, January 9th from 9-5 and Sunday, January 10th from 9-noon.
Cost for the weekend is $100 and includes a continental breakfast each morning, plus a reception at the end of the program. For more information or to register, please contact Bethany at 802-375-6353.
