a 5-week course given by Chogyam Trungpa during the inaugural session of The Naropa Institute in 1974. This course was held during the same period of time that Rinpoche was teaching “The Tibetan Buddhist Path”

In later talks, he describes meditation practice in greater detail, as well as related topics, such as aspects of mind, the five skandhas, vipashyana, shunyata (or emptiness) and buddhanature.
Suggested readings will be from “The Path is the Goal: A Handbook of Buddhist Meditation†by Chogyam Trungpa. Paperback, $14.95. May be ordered through the Northshire Bookstore (please allow 10 days).
Each meeting of this course will include sitting meditation practice, a talk viewed on DVD and a group discussion facilitated by an experienced practitioner of Buddhist meditation.
Cost is by donation (suggested $10 per class, but pay what you can). Free to members.
