The Manchester Shambhala Meditation Group will be hosting a 6-week class on Pema Chödrön’s recent DVD, Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change, Tuesdays starting on January 3, 2012 at 7:00pm.
How do we work skillfully with rough times? How do we transform our lives during times of upheaval and unpredictability? How do we broaden our tolerance for uneasiness?
In accordance with a prophecy of the Hopi elders, these teachings are about how to swim in the tremendous adversity which is the rushing river of our times: taking nothing personally, overcoming alienation, appreciating our friends, and celebrating. “We are the ones we have been waiting for.”
Classes will include meditation practice. Manchester Shambhala is located at 107B Bonnet Street, Manchester, VT. Suggested donation for the course is $50. For more info, please contact Bethany at 802-375-6353.
A list of resources from the Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change Retreat are available online.
