We are writing to invite you to the next level of Shambhala Training Heart of Warriorship series taking place at the Shambhala Meditation Center of White River in White River Junction, Vermont. Level II: Birth of the Warrior will be offered on November 10, 11, and 12. The program will begin with registration at 7:00pm on Friday evening followed by a talk. Saturday and Sunday will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The cost is $125.
We are honored to have guest Director Jason Newman from Mendon, Vermont. He is a long-time practitioner and teacher of the Shambhala Path. We are happy that he will be with us to share his rich experience for the Level.
In Level II the experience of basic goodness brings the bravery and willingness to look into our habitual patterns, seeing how they become ways of avoiding fear and sadness. Not turning away from these basic human experiences requires training — the practice of the warrior’s way. This repeated practice of fearlessness brings the realization that our connection with basic goodness is indestructible.
We anticipate a large group and due to the size of the Center we may not be able to accommodate everyone who wants to participate. To secure a place, you must pre-register and send a $25 deposit made out to WRSC (White River Shambhala Center) to Patti Morgan, P.O. Box 1254, White River Junction, Vt. 05001. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event that you must cancel, we will refund your deposit.
To pre-register, call Patti Morgan at 802 765-4626 or e-mail her at Patti.Morgan@valley.net. Then, you will be asked to send a deposit after that initial contact. We hope that you can join us for this program, as we continue to bring warriorship into our daily lives and into the world.
